SF Space Walk
SF Space Walk is 7 world-class growers releasing 7 amazing strains at 7 dope lounges over the course of the 7 hot nights leading up to 4/20. It’s like Beer Week, or Restaurant Week. Produced by award-winning cannabis journalist David Downs.
SF Hash Week
SF Hash Week mirrors the week-long drop party series concept, and applies it to extracts—hash, rosin, live rosin, vapes, edibles, tinctures, etc—during the week of 7/10 Oil Day.
Terpnami SF
Terpnami SF seed show completes the seasonal, annual festival cycle with a seed show in SF in early December.

Background
Formerly known as SF Weed Week, the 2024 festival debut was made possible by Founding Advisors Sunset Connect‘s Ali Jamalian, Chronic Culture’s Neil Dellacava, Shannon McInerney (PAX), Sabrina Pacheco (Chronic Culture), Ben Grambergu (7 Stars Richmond) as well as artist Conor Buckley (Outside Lands), Eric Lister, and technologist Keith Woody. David Downs Presents events include print, digital, and experiential marketing campaigns that are sponsor-funded and include:

'Get to the Bag Art' show
David Downs Presents also produces the ‘Get to the Bag’ art show, featuring over 1,400 pieces of cannabis packaging, aka mylar art.
The show runs for a month every April in San Francisco, and is hosted digitally on this site.

SF Space Walk began as SF Weed Week in 2024 when award-winning cannabis journalist and best-selling author David Downs learned about SF Beer Week, and thought, ‘We can do that for weed.’ Downs has covered tech for WIRED, music for Rolling Stone, and The Onion, New York Times, and marijuana for Scientific American. He was the senior editor for the popular cannabis app Leafly (2018 to 2025), and the former Cannabis Editor of the San Francisco Chronicle (2016-2018). Downs was a 2024 Emjay Award Cannabis Journalist of the Year nominee.
